I thought I’d make something using an old bookcover…
…As I walked passed the bed, to switch on the light on my nightstand, something drops on the bed:
a tiny piece of confetti…
Thank you colleagues!
Just this evening, someone I DON’T KNOW has ordered one of my notebooks!
With Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman.
Wow. Classic film, with a very pretty Taylor and a very handsome Newman.
I don’t think a film like this (pretty static, based on a Tenessee Williams play), with two major actors will ever be made again.
I improved my self-bound diary!
It now has a pocket and an elastic band! This should last a year or two!
Can’t wait to see it!
The press is for books what an oven is to baking: the magic moment!
I made a brown leather binding for a new diary, and I am so curious to see how it turns out, I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
And a blank book with the use of washi tape.
Both with nice retro papers.

A book with a great looking binding has been turned into a safe.
The paper was cut away and then a generous layer of glue was applied on the inside.
The book had no chance of ever been read again.
(otherwise I would not have ‘killed’ it!)
It was a text on politics at the start of the 20th century…. in French.
