My favourite song of the week:
Chasing Pirates by Norah Jones.
nice rhythm, nice sounds, nice flow of the voice, can’t get it out of my head!

YAHTZEE!Accompanied by Roxy Music tunes.
After four rounds we were slightly bored.

I received another package of cds, ordered from the internet by M.
How sweet.
The music is mostly a trip down memory lane, and a helping hand in deciding to let go of the old lps.
the nice music surprise, some unwelcome family issues came up recently.
Bookbinding can be a real blessing in times like these!
Ignore the bad stuff, and just focus on making some pretty things. Well, a bit, anyway.
(I thought I’d put in a bold yet relevant title!)
It’s great to have the sun back!
Our Sun Room has turned all orangey yellow, and it feels warm just from that glow.
Reading: The Other Family by Joanna Trollope (halfway now)
Watched: Midsomer Murders
Dinner today: Fish and chips!
Listening: to an old Joe Jackson cd.
Enjoying: a dose of real life Porn for Women! (laundry, folding, etc)
Tomorrow: first steps in book repairs!
…the final episode today of the series “The War” by Ken Burns. About 15 hours, on 6 dvds.
A great, impressive, documentary series about the Second World War, presented from very personal perspectives, of US soldiers.
Great musical score by Wynton Marsalis.
If you consider watching just one war documentary, it will have to be this one!
After the summer break I am picking up my pace with making new items.
I have a few ideas for new creations, and if anyone has suggestions, please let me know!
I put two new items under home made, a book and a box, hopefully more will follow soon…
This is a great clip, I have seen it ages ago, but thought it was so original that I should put it up.
