Stores can be so different!
Two recent store visits showed me the full spectrum of service.
The Disappointment.
I went to the location specifically to visit this store, I walked an extra ten minutes or so, and was enthusiastic to visit and to buy something.
But after asking several questions (and I admit, there were more customers asking questions), I felt that I got the short answers. Such as “Yes”, “No” and “‘Are you going to buy that?”.
If I wanted to respond honestly to their service, I should have walked out of there. (I didn’t, because they had things I wanted to own) But I did regret taking the trouble to go there in the first place: what a pity!
The Bullseye:
I went to another store thinking I was going to get a certain percentage discount. After the cash register appeared not to be working properly, I offered to kill some time and return after 15 minutes. When I got back, I got full service, an extra product for free because of the wait. And after checking my receipt on the way home, I discovered I received extra double discount! (I fear this was a mistake, it was not advertised, and not offered at the counter) But I was happy!
So this store visit was a great success!! Yay!
Shhht!
…I am now very busy admiring all my purchases…
